These engineers aim to select the optimal project candidate considering the available information and data, which may not result in the expected outcome in the end. Moreover, the company will may lack of time, human or financial resources to even carry out the plan. As a consequence, projects should be planned to satisfy all type of requirements. The question is: is this achievable? During project planning, the methodology considers risk and reliability factors of equipments as inputs. Based on these values, a priority order of interventions can be established, that can help in the maintenance plan design. An important aspect of the methodology is to take into consideration the constraints subject to time, financial, and other resources as well. | |
