The paper focuses on how climate change also affects the migration dynamics of particular regions. The paper shows that this is not a future possible process but a perceived crisis already underway. In some geographical areas, the crisis is already on such a scale that it allows for analysing migration processes. The paper selects a case study according to specific criteria to illustrate how the countries concerned can act in such a crisis. In addition to the country affected by climate migration, the paper also examines the reactions of the selected destination country of climate migrants. This case analysis can also be used to organise analytical aspects into a structure. The paper then presents Hungary's possible long-term situation and suggest which aspects of the case analyses can be transferred to the Hungarian migration regime and how they can be done so that the future regime will also comply with current human rights standards.
