Tartalmi kivonat:Culture is a „frame-concept” that the different disciplines filled with various meanings. Therefore, a generally accepted definition is still to be created. In this age of globalization, owing to the very nature of the cross-cultural economies, certain elements and dimensions of organizational culture (eg. scale of values, priorities, knowledge-transfer, emotional factors, identity, etc.) appear with steady features across borders, creating a kind of global(ised) culture. At the same time, special factors promoting change receive more and more emphasis too, accentuating the importance of locally embedded decisions. This factors can contribute to, and enhance organizational functioning by conveying comparative and competitive advantages to participants of economic life.
