| Tartalmi kivonat: | The essay explores the unfolding of Liszt’s and Bartók’s career as pianists, beginning with the first appearance of their musical abilities. W e deal with their significant essays, first concerts and later repertoires. Liszt’s musical talent was revealed at the age of six, Bartók's at the age of one and a half. Liszt started his musical studies at the age of six, Bartók at the age of five. Their first teachers were family members: Liszt’s his father, Bartók’s his mother. Both had significant teachers: Czemy for Liszt, and Erkel and István Thomán for Bartók. They gave their first concerts at the age of nine and ten, respectively. Both artists had a huge repertoire. Liszt introduced a number of innovations at concert performing. Bartók’s concerts, and the recordings of his pieces, stand as guidelines for the following generations. |
