Tartalmi kivonat:From the early phase of the actual disintegration of the ‚Yugoslav construction’ at the very beginning of the 1990s, the Western Balkans have been under a varying intensity of almost constant migratory pressure, to which the entirety of security policy risk factors associated with the region, represented by individuals with radical Islamic beliefs, is connected. Although the continuously changing global political contexts (international conflicts affecting Iraq’s territory, Arab Spring – Syrian war, terror actions of Islamist geopolitical formations, etc.) might create the impression month by month that there is always some “up-to-date” phenomenon behind the risk – the historical roots of the phenomenon extend far beyond daily news, on the fundamental migratory reality carrying the risk. The primary goal of this study is to provide an overview interpretation of this problem area and to update information that has come to light with connections to intelligence services, emphasizing the current relevance of the topic.
