| Tartalmi kivonat: | The blood flow velocity waveforms of the arcuate artery were examined in 101 healthy pregnant women in 292 occasions. Kranzbuhler 8130 Duplex Doppler equipment was used in all of the examinations. The results were estimated by the A/B ratios (A = systolic peak, B = end diastole) and resistance indexes ([A-B]/[A]). It was found that in the examined period both parameters showed an almost constant value which is characteristic of low resistance. A significantly stronger blood flow was found on the side of the placental insertion than on the opposite side. |
